The five workflows
- Estimating
- Photo and voice to quote, rate library, proposals, e-signature and deposits. The estimate becomes the source of truth for the whole job.
- Leads and customer communication
- One inbox for enquiries, intake forms, automated follow-up and AI-drafted replies, so nothing goes quiet.
- Scheduling and crews
- Calendar, crew day sheets, the painter app, time clock and timesheets. Everyone knows where they are on Monday.
- Job delivery
- Condition reports, checklists, RAMS, variations, progress photos and a customer portal that answers “how’s it going?” before they ask.
- Invoicing and cash
- Invoices, payment milestones, payment status, Xero sync, profitability by job and by painter, and reviews collected at the right moment.

- Who is Business Plus for?
- Painting and decorating firms with an office and more than one crew, typically £1.5m turnover and up. If you are a sole trader quoting from your phone, it is more system than you need, and we will tell you so on the call.
- How many users can we have?
- As many as you like. There are no seats, no user tiers and no add-ons. Office staff, estimators and site leads all get their own login on the same plan.
- How does billing work?
- £15,000 a year, ex VAT, on one invoice paid by bank transfer. There is no card on file and nothing renews automatically: we send a renewal invoice before your term ends. Prefer to spread it? A 60/40 split across two invoices 6 months apart is available on the same plan.
- What is the founding price?
- The first two firms to come on board pay £9,500 a year instead of £15,000. Same plan, same everything, in return for being early and telling us what to build next.
- Is there a trial?
- No. We run a demo on your own jobs, then activate your account. You have a 14-day full refund window from the day your payment lands, so the risk sits with us, not you.
- What happens at the end of the year?
- We invoice the renewal before your term ends. If it is not renewed you keep full access for 14 days, after which the account goes read-only until it is. Your data stays yours throughout and can be exported at any time.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. Artem Software runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop, and the painter app installs to a phone’s home screen in two taps.
- Can I send estimates as PDFs?
- Yes. Branded PDF estimates, proposals and invoices are included, alongside the public links your customers can accept and sign from.
